Giorgione (1478-1510) est le premier grand peintre vénitien du Cinquecento italien. Il n'a vécu que 32 ans. Il était cependant l'un des peintres les plus célèbres à Venise, de son vivant.

Giorgione (1478-1510) is the first great Venetian painter of the Italian Cinquecento. He lived only 32 years. He was, however, one of the most famous painters in Venice during his lifetime.
